W.G. ANDERSON MERCANTILE
The Monarch is located in the heart of the Upper Cumberland in Baxter, Tennessee-about an hour east of Nashville, just off Interstate 40. Originally built in 1920, the W. G. Anderson Mercantile Store provided hardware and incidentals to residents of Baxter and the surrounding towns. In 2018, careful renovations began to preserve the history and beauty of the building, and in 2020 The Monarch opened as an industrial chic warehouse venue.
